DEARBORN, Mich., May 30, 2019 – Thanks to its impressive technology, ample cargo space and bold new styling, Lincoln Navigator has earned a spot on Edmunds' 2019 Best Family Car Awards list. Edmunds has recognized Lincoln's full-size premium SUV that continues gaining sales momentum as its best large luxury SUV.
Contenders in Edmunds' Best Family Car Awards are comprehensively evaluated across 30 categories. Navigator stood out for its wealth of luxurious touches including an easy-to-use technology interface, spacious cargo room, strong turbocharged V6 engine with plenty of towing power and its long list of safety equipment offerings.
'With bold new styling, a stout 450-hp V6 engine, seating for seven or eight adults, massive cargo space and modern tech, the Navigator is built to haul families and their things in supreme comfort,' say the car buying experts at Edmunds.
Lincoln's first-quarter sales results show an 11.2 percent increase thanks to robust growth across its SUV lineup – including Navigator, which saw a 10 percent sales gain.
