Double Win For Mercedes-Benz At 2019 Autocar Awards
•Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ named 'Game Changer'
•Dr Dieter Zetsche awarded Autocar's 2019 Issignois Trophy
The Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ has won the 'Game Changer' award at the 2019 Autocar awards and Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management, Daimler AG, was awarded Autocar's 2019 Issignois Trophy. The Issignois Trophy recognises outstanding achievements within the automotive industry.
The CLS 53 4MATIC+ was praised for its hybrid technology, EQ Boost, which uses a 48-volt onboard network with a belt-driven starter/alternator. The system adds 22 hp and 250 Nm of torque to the car's overall output.

The Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ features the latest driving assistance technology including Active Braking Assist; Lane Keeping Assist; and route-based speed adaptation where the vehicle can detect upcoming curves, junctions and roundabouts and adjust its speed accordingly. The CLS 53 4MATIC+ is available from £74,565.
