Infiniti Names Kevin Mao President Of Dongfeng Infiniiti
March 3, 2019 by InfinitiBeijing / Hong Kong – INFINITI Motor Company has named Kevin Mao as president of Dongfeng INFINITI (DFI) and managing director of INFINITI China. 'Kevin Mao is a great leader who brings a wealth of automotive experience to INFINITI,' said Christian Meunier, chairman and global president of INFINITI Motor Company. 'He has strong experience in the US and China, and has both a global mindset and is very familiar with Chinese joint ventures. He is the right leader at the right time for INFINITI's push to grow in the world's largest automotive market.' Kevin has more than 25 years of automotive experience in China and the U.S., having worked with many automakers and suppliers. Most recently as General Manager of Dongfeng Nissan Aftersales, he led the function through double digit growth. Prior to that he was president of Robert Bosch Aftermarket Greater China, general manager of Johnson Controls metals China and an executive as Valeo China. He started his automotive career in Detroit in 1992. Mao holds a Master's Degree in Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was also an MBA candidate at the University of Michigan and completed a general management program CEDEP at INSEAD, France.
