Jon Coles - New General Manager for Dealer Development – Suzuki GB and Republic of Ireland

Suzuki GB PLC is very pleased to introduce Jon Coles who now heads up its Dealer Development team as General Manager and is responsible for all four Dealer Divisions which are Automobile, Motorcycle, Marine and All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).

Jon Coles takes over the department from his predecessor Mark Hallam who retired from the company in March of this year.

As part of the company's Senior Leadership Team, Jon has a team of eight and is responsible for all aspects of network development including onboarding of new dealers, sales training, regular 'mystery shop' customer experience exercises and Corporate Identity.

Although he joined Suzuki GB in 2007, Jon brings a total 25 years' brand experience to the role as he originated from its dealer network in 1999 where he held numerous positions including Technician and Service Manager.

Jon first joined the Aftersales Division at Suzuki GB as technical coordinator before progressing to the role of Regional Sales Manager and then Technical Manager.

More recently, he held the position of General Manager of Aftersales Services. In that role, he was instrumental in the creation and launch of its Service Activated Warranty to both car and motorcycle owners.

Jon Coles comments: 'I am very much looking forward to settling into my new cross -divisional role in Dealer Development with key responsibilities to include helping ensure that Suzuki remains the Number one brand for trust as well as supporting our network to be fully prepared for the transition to an EV range from 2025 through to 2030'.
